Cultural Events for your Holiday in Val SenalesThe Val Senales is a holiday region rich in traditions and a popular destination for your summer winter holidays in South Tyrol. The century-old customs are still alive and an integral part of the people´s lives. Staying at our hotel in Val Senales, you will be able to participate in a large number of cultural events all year round, such as the traditional transhumance in mid September during which the sheep are brought down to the valley from the pastures.But one of the most popular events is the “Schnolser Summerfest” which lasts for two days and is accompanied by a cheerful framework programme with international stars of folk and light music. Another event is the locals shooting range for low-calibre arms held from July to August in Madonna di Senales. Our charming mountain village is furthermore an ancient Sanctuary and can be reached via the pilgrimage path of Our Lady. Visit also the century-old pilgrimage church one of the oldest examples in Tyrol. |
